    Hi~
    I just came across your blog on Momdot. I can't believe this post! My son does this and I have never connected it to his Asperger's. (duh)
    I just realized that he does this mostly when he is at school or in an anxious situation-attention's on him. Because he has had dermatitis and eczema, we thought that was the cause of his hair twisting and scalp picking. I have no doubt that we have been wrong.
    I'm so glad you posted this and I found it. Now I know what to do for my sweet boy!
